Extern have a ‘moving forward moving on’ project for 16-24-year olds who are not in education, training or employment. They also have an ‘extern works’ project for those who are homeless and previous convictions

Jobworks+ is one of our rolling employability programmes which targets 16-24 year olds who are NEET. The programme offers a range of support and opportunities: personal development coach, driving lessons, PT sessions, level 1 OCN qualifications (focused around employability and personal development), CSR cards and 1-2-1 mentor support for applications, CVs and interview prep.
Journeys another new programme is a 6-month long programme and is just about to start up (they are still currently recruiting though), with the same target group. Journeys is a programme that provides young people the opportunity to create positive change through a range of projects. The programme focuses on the themes of personal development, good relations and citizenship. Activities include residentials, group activities, social action projects, 1-2-1 mentoring and OCN training. Participants receive free lunch whilst on the programme, free travel and an £8 daily incentive (that doesn’t impact their other benefits).

Support sessions for young people in need of extra support and training to overcome barriers that impact on gaining positions in education or employment. Offers a range of support including life skills, business skill,s employability skills.
